Daniel Mullins is an independent game creator known for strange and self aware puzzle experiences that twist the relationship between player and game. His work blends narrative tricks, meta commentary, and mechanical surprises in ways that feel playful and unsettling at the same time. His earlier projects include Pony Island, The Hex, and Inscryption, each one pushing deeper into themes of corrupted software, unreliable systems, and games that fight back.
Pony Island 2: Panda Circus continues this style. It presents itself as a sequel but behaves more like a theatrical trap. The game shifts tone without warning, breaks its own structure, and treats the player as both participant and target. It uses the familiar Pony Island aesthetic as a mask for something stranger and more elaborate. It is not a simple follow up. It is a new experiment built on the same idea that a game can be a character and a threat.
We are looking forward to finding out more about this gem.
